The Healthcare Intelligence Network's Second Annual Case Management e-survey conducted in January 2011 captured the details of contemporary case management and program-driven results in healthcare utilization, cost and compliance from 201 healthcare organizations. According to survey respondents, the five diagnoses most impacted by case management are:

  • Cardiovascular disease: 56.7 percent

  • Diabetes: 47.1 percent

  • Cancer: 31.7 percent

  • COPD: 29.8 percent

  • Other: 29.8 percent
