Despite strong interest in mobile health (mHealth), consumer adoption of mHealth technologies remains limited, according to Deloitte’s 2013 Survey of U.S. Health Care Consumers.

Thirty-five percent of respondents say they are concerned that the privacy and security of their personal information might be at risk when using a mobile device to access health records or tests online, according to a new infographic from Deloitte. This infographic incorporates other findings from the survey, including the demand for mHealth, what consumers’ use of mHealth technologies looks like today, and other aspects consumers are skeptical about.
