Eighty-four percent of U.S. consumers believe they should have full access to their electronic medical records (EMRs) while only 34 percent of physicians share this belief, according to a recent survey from Accenture.

Forty-one percent of consumers said they would be willing to switch physicians to gain online access to their EMRs, according to a new Accenture infographic. This infographic also highlights EMR trends from other countries, identifies other important services reported by consumers, reviews current access to electronic records, and more.
